William S. was for many years one of Worcester's most esteemed citizens. He was a genral in the Union army.
      D. Waldo was killed in a railroad accident at new London while witnessing a Harvard-Yale boat race. He was at that time president of the Boston and Albany Railroad.
George was killed at the battle of Buena Vista....
(Here follows extensive narrative about his business and social activities.)

He had been twice married, his first wife being Sarah Rhodes Arnold of Providence.
Of the four children, three died in infancy, and one son, John Waldo Lincoln, is a civil engineer on the Pacific coast.

Mr. Lincoln's second wife was Miss Catherine Von Weber Marston, and from this union there were seven children, six of whom are living -- Anne Marston, Mrs. M. L. Bogert, Adeline Seaver and Helen; and two sons, Marston and Pelham Winslow.
His youngest daughter Katherine Von Weber, died last year.... (Here follows further commentary about his life.)
