  Notes	"History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield": Gregory, Henry William Gregory of Nottingham, Eng., Gent., in his will 18 June 1650, proved 5 Feb 1651, gave a legacy to his bro. Henry Gregory, and L5 to each of Henry's cildren, except L10 to "my cousin Perrie, my said brother Henry's daughter", they being now in New England (but apparently the last statement does not apply to Cousin Perrie). He was of Springfield by 1643. A shoemaker, of Stratford, his workmanship was complained of 1647; he was spokjen of as an old man, and his sons John and Judah and dau. the wife of William Crooker testified. Died at Stratford in 1655. Inv. 19 June 1655, taken by John Welles and Thomas Fairchild. Eldest son John, and other children (not named).
