    • "Deming Genealogy": Lieut. Ephraim Deming settled in the western part of Wethersfield, and was early identified with the church at Newington, being frequently appointed on important committees. On 13 Oct 1726 he was appointed Lieutenant of the train-band of Newington, by the Conn. Gen. Assembly. he left a considerable estate, which was distributed among his children, all of whom are mentioned in his will. [1]
