- In the foundation charter of Chicksands Priory she is recorded as Countess Rohese. She was one of the first Prioresses at Chicksands and she died there, Oct 1166 between the death of her son, Geoffrey de Vere, 2nd Earl of Essex and her son Simon de Beauchamp who founded Newnham Priory, Bedford, said to be her foundation.
