  Notes	Excerpt from "Descendants of George Rowells": by Ann Moloney Lamb: OBITUARY: "Mrs. May Donovan, wife of county treasurer Frank Donovan, died August 24, 1911, after less than a day's illness, aged thirty-five years, nine months and twenty-four days. Consternantion and grief were not limited to Sumner township, as whereever telephone, telegram and letter carried the sad words, aching hearts bore evidence of wide spread, esteem and affection, which was confirmed by Rev. Lucas' choise of Romans 8:16-17 as consolation for the breaved relatives and more than house full of friends. The mother and two brothers from Oklahoma and Mr. M. Donovan's family of Norton, were present. Thirty-seven black bowns worn with as many of white, corresponding to the one nestling in the filmy silken lace of the one who "no more would join their numbers" told of fraternal association, whose quartette trremblingly voiced "Sister Thou Wert Mild and Lovely." Rare floral beauties from Naponee and neighborhood mutely forshadowed something of the glories of the resurrection. Despite the fierce storm of dust, twenty-severn teams followed the beautiful white casket eleven miles, where a delegation of Agra W.C.T.U. kindly added a large wreath and other emblems to the last resting place in the Dubois cemetery."
