- John Hall became the first deacon of the church of Wallingford; was selectman in 1675; and was deputy to General Court held in Hartford, 1687; one of his descendants, Rev. Aaron Hall, minister of Keene, N.H., had a silver spoon marked "John and Mary Hall." [1]
