- Jonathan was a carpenter by trade, and a thrifty man he must have been, for he brought up a family of twelve children and sent at least three of them to college. He was selectman in 1747 and 1752. Jonathan made his will January 14, 1782, appointing his sons Jonathan and Aaron his executors. He died in Medfield March 13, 1782, and his will was approved April 2, 1782 - inventory L392.16.6. His widow died in Medfield July 28, 1798. [1]
