- He was baptized on Monday with Sir Francis Knollys, the Earl of Leicester (Robert Dudley, 1st Earl of Leicester and the Countess of Warwick Anne Russell Dudley,) as his godparents. Robert was a member of parliament while still a student at the Inner Temple, where he had been especially admitted at the request of his father-in-law. Robert was granted permission to build a chamber on White Friars Wall. It was fro here that his body was carried on 8 June 1594 to be buried in St Dunstan-in-the-West. [1]
