  	HEARLD STATESMAN YONKERS, NY WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 1966 Mrs. J.W. Slawson Mrs. Abbey Benson Slawson died yesterday in the John E. Andrus Memorial infirmary at the age of 86. She entered Andrus with her late husband, John Wallace Slawson, in March, 1957. Mr. Slawson was in the real estate business in White Plains before entering Andrus. He died at Andrus in March, 1958. A Resident of Whit Plains for most of her life, Mrs. Slawson was born in Easton, Pa., on Oct. 22, 1879. While in White Plains, she was a member of the Church in the Highlands. More recently, she attended the First Reformed Church in Hastings - on - Hudson. She belonged to Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and was a member of the Women's Club of White Plains. She is survived by her son, J. Wallace Slawson Jr, of Smithtown, Long Island; a grandson and granddaughter, and five great-grandchildren.
